The Advanced Diploma in Dance (Performance), is a intensive course that will help you achieve your dream of becoming a versatile and talented dance artist with a successful career in the dance and creative industries. 

Our course takes a holistic approach, fostering creative expression through a rigorous combination of technique training, collaborative projects, performance opportunities, and applied professional practices. You will take part in a range of classes including ballet, jazz, urban dance, classical repertoire, contemporary techniques, choreography, dance science, performance-making, music, fitness, and somatic practices. As our student, you will explore and apply a wide range of highly specialized technical, creative, and conceptual skills to express your ideas and perspectives required for your chosen dance style. 

In addition to these classes, you will have the opportunity to work alongside an array of creative disciplines, including music, musical theater, visual arts, and design. Our safe and supportive environment will enable you to present your creative ideas to your peers and staff, fostering teamwork while simultaneously building your individual identity and profile. 

Our experienced team of lecturers and industry experts will support you throughout the study, helping you discover your potential and guide you toward your professional development goals. You will attend guest lectures, workshops, and masterclasses that will enhance and sharpen your thinking and technical abilities. Through public performances and the year-end industry showcase, you will gain the confidence and experience needed to perform in front of an audience. 

Assessment is based on coursework, assignments, project work, presentations, classroom participation and engagement, practical and applied learning activities, and other approved assessment methods.
