Description

Our Musical Theatre course offers an extensive range of courses starting from the Diploma level to a more advanced level. Our aim is to provide students with a comprehensive education that covers the necessary skills and theories of music, dance, and performance. As they advance beyond the fundamentals, students will also have the opportunity to explore the creative process of producing musical works, enhancing their skills as well-rounded performers. 

Our course is based on contemporary musical theatre training techniques and pedagogy. However, we also offer a unique learning experience for our students as they get to learn and experience traditional Asian theatre performances training, making it the only musical theatre program in Asia to offer such an opportunity. 

In addition to performing in standard classical and contemporary musical theatre productions, students will also get to participate in a unique touring children’s musical production, providing them with an enriching and diverse learning experience. Assessment is based on assignments, individual and group projects, presentations, classroom participation and engagement, practical exercises, portfolios (where applicable), and other continuous assessment methods.

Our course is designed to train the consummate musical theatre professional, with a focus on providing students with the necessary skills to succeed in the industry. As students progress from the Diploma level to the more advanced level, they will receive advanced training to prepare them for a career as a Music Director in a musical theatre production or to create new works in the genre of musical theatre, making our graduate program unique and highly sought-after.
