Kah Wai previously served as Vice-Principal at St Francis Methodist School, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the High School. Her responsibilities included overseeing academic planning, curriculum design, assessment, and resource allocation. She also spearheaded business development and marketing initiatives, successfully launching flagship programmes.
Prior to her current role, Kah Wai held the position of Vice President at Sing-Ed Global Schoolhouse, overseeing operations, administration, and marketing across multiple international schools within the organization. She made significant contributions to curriculum design and school branding.
Kah Wai’s career highlights include serving as a consultant abroad, tasked with establishing the IB faculty of a school. Earlier, she was the Key Coordinator of the upper years geography team at School of the Arts, Singapore, where she led the design of lesson packages, coordinated level-wide programs, and monitored student progress and welfare.
With a strong commitment to pedagogical innovation, Kah Wai has a wealth of experience in nurturing students’ creative and critical thinking skills. She previously served as Subject Head of Integrated Programme (IP) at Methodist Girls’ School, collaborating with stakeholders to develop the IP’s core syllabus, including cultural enrichment modules and overseas summer programs.
Kah Wai holds a Master of Education and has presented her research findings and teaching pedagogies at international conferences such as the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference, Asia Pacific Conference on Giftedness, and SEAGA Education Forum. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Geography from the National University of Singapore and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with Merit from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.
