Keith is a Singaporean artist who works with abstraction. His practice is a sensorial exploration of the relationship between the machine-made, digital and analogue through the use of colour and materiality. His paintings are a blend of preconceptions and intuition, reflecting an interplay of cognitive and perceptual experiences. He received a training and education from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore in 2015.
Keith was awarded the Highly Commended prize in the Established Artist Category of the 2021 UOB 40th Painting of the Year competition and a finalist for the Clifton Art Prize in 2017. His works have been shown in Southeast Asia, Singapore and Malaysia. Recent and upcoming exhibitions include 39+ Art Space, Singapore; S.E.A Focus, AC43 Gallery and Art Expo Malaysia, Richard Koh Fine Art. He has also worked on projects with Raffles Dhevanafushi Maldives, Wildlife Reserve Singapore and Supermama. His works have been featured in The Straits Times, Channel News Asia, Art & Market (A&M) and S.E.A Focus 2023 Artist Feature.
Since 2017, he has been a dedicated educator at Artify Studio and has also conducted specialised workshops, such as Nude Drawing Workshops at Straits Clan in 2019. He believes in creating a learning environment that encourages exploration, collaboration and the honing of individual artistic voices. Keith’s approach to teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about inspiring and nurturing a lifelong passion for the arts.
