Minimum Entry Requirements
CCAMT’s Advanced Diploma in a related field.
OR
Three years Diploma in Music, Audio Production, or related creative field
OR
International Equivalents:
China
- Zhuanke (专科) or Higher Diploma from a recognized university or vocational college (in music related field)
- Completion of three years from a four-year Bachelor’s degree in music or related fields
Japan
- Advanced Certificate from a Senmon Gakkō (専門学校) in music or music related fields
South Korea
- Associate Degree (전문학사 – Jeonmun Haksa) studied for three years from a junior college (in music related field)
ASEAN Countries (e.g., Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines)
- Advanced Diploma from recognized polytechnics or arts institutions (in music related field)
- Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Professional Experience:
Option 1: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the same industry for those who have completed 2 years or more of college/university education. This experience should be directly related to the program of study and demonstrate the application of academic knowledge in a practical setting.
Option 2: For applicants with less academic progression, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, acknowledging the value of practical experience in compensating for the lesser duration of formal education.
Supplementary Requirements:
- Applicants must submit two professional reference letters with their BA admission application:
- Reference Letter 1: Academic Reference
- Must be from a teacher or academic advisor
- Should address the applicant’s academic performance, learning attitude, and suitability for undergraduate study
- Reference Letter 2: Professional Reference
- Must be from an immediate supervisor, employer, or industry professional
- Should highlight the applicant’s professional capabilities, work ethic, and relevance of their work experience to music studies
- Format Requirements:
- Both letters must be signed and dated
- Letters should preferably be written on official letterhead
- Reference Letter 1: Academic Reference
- Personal Statement: A comprehensive personal statement detailing academic interests, professional experience, reasons for pursuing the program, and career objectives.
- Proof of Continuous Professional Development: Documentation of additional qualifications, professional development, certifications, or training relevant to the field of study, highlighting an ongoing commitment to learning.
- Additional requirement: Dependent on program’s requirements such as audition or portfolio submissions.
AND
- Minimum age: 19 years old
- The student will need to submit a statement of purpose, creative works.
- Other qualifications which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Statement of Purpose (1000 words)
The student will need to describe their interest, involvement and experience in music performance and/or the performing arts more broadly. Performing experience can include work done with arts organisations or events such as film, performance, festivals, and exhibitions. These can also be student projects that you worked on.
