Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA)

The Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) dedicated to driving lifelong learning, skill development, and career resilience in Singapore. Established to build a future-ready workforce, SWDA integrates national training frameworks, administers skills funding, and strengthens career-matching services.

As part of its mission, SWDA oversees the private education sector. The agency regulates Private Education Institutions (PEIs) to ensure high standards of educational quality, robust consumer protection, and transparent employment outcomes for graduates.
