MUSICAL THEATRE

Musical Theatre program offers a comprehensive education in music, dance, and performance, starting with a 2-year Diploma program and progressing to an Advanced Diploma. Our curriculum, based on contemporary musical theatre training techniques and pedagogy, provides students with the skills and knowledge to succeed as well-rounded performers in the industry.

What sets our program apart is the unique opportunity for students to learn and experience traditional Asian theatre performance training, making it the only musical theatre program in Asia to offer such an opportunity. In addition to performing in classical and contemporary musical theatre productions, students also participate in a unique touring children’s musical production, providing them with a diverse learning experience.

The programs provide rigorous and innovative training in Musical Theatre techniques, including Acting, Singing, Dancing, Music Skills, and Performance Productions, all underpinned by up-to-date techniques and supplemented with classes in Asian Theatre and Dance.

Students have the opportunity to perform on various stages, from the mainstage to black box theatres, working with international and local guest artists and professionals. They also contribute to the creative process through dedicated performance-based projects, including a fully staged cabaret performance and a small-scale musical in front of a public audience.

Our goal is to develop a new generation of Musical Theatre actors and performers who will shape the global musical theatre industry. The Musical Theatre program prepares students to achieve the highest standards in this dynamic and demanding field.
