The 2 semesters Bachelor of Arts Fine Art program explores a broad range of art practices, including digital media, fabrication, painting, print-making, sculpture, and more. Minimum Entry Requirements

CCAMT’s Advanced Diploma in a related field.

OR 

Academic Achievement: 

Successful completion of a Foundation degree or at least two-thirds of an undergraduate degree (equivalent to 120 UK credits per year), which demonstrates substantial higher education study. 

Professional Experience:

Option 1: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the same industry for those who have completed 2 years or more of college/university education. This experience should be directly related to the program of study and demonstrate the application of academic knowledge in a practical setting. 

Option 2: For applicants with less academic progression, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, acknowledging the value of practical experience in compensating for the lesser duration of formal education. 

Supplementary Requirements: 

  • Professional References: Two professional references from individuals who can attest to the applicant’s professional capabilities and relevance of their work experience to the intended field of study. 
  • Personal Statement: A comprehensive personal statement detailing academic interests, professional experience, reasons for pursuing the program, and career objectives.
  • Proof of Continuous Professional Development: Documentation of additional qualifications, professional development, certifications, or training relevant to the field of study, highlighting an ongoing commitment to learning. 
  • Additional requirement: Dependent on program’s requirements such as audition or portfolio submissions ; 

AND 

  • Minimum age: 19 years old
  • The student will need to submit a statement of purpose, creative portfolio.
  • Other qualifications which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Statement of Purpose (500–800 words)

The student will need to describe their interest, involvement and experience in the visual arts. Visual arts experience can include work done with arts organisations or events such as film, design, performance, festivals, exhibitions. These can also be events you attended or student projects that you worked on. Statement of purpose to be submitted online.

Creative Portfolio

The student will also need to submit a portfolio – a collection of work that showcases their skills, personality and creative potential. This should include what they have learnt and created so far to what they plan to do next. Visual materials can include (but are not limited to) drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, film, sketches, video art, sculpture, ceramics, etc Interview The student will need to participate in a dialogue in relation to the submitted statement of purpose and creative portfolio – What are your motivations for choosing this course? Share your interest, influence and aspiration. What do you hope to achieve in this programme? You should also share how this programme might prepare you for your future career path.
