Advanced Diploma in Digital Entrepreneurship and eCommerce Management

Description

The Advanced Diploma in Digital Entrepreneurship and eCommerce Management is an intensive 9-month program, framed by UK’s FHEQ 5, that builds upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the first year. This program is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the complexities and nuances of the digital commerce landscape, with a particular emphasis on practical application and real-world problem-solving.

In this Advanced Diploma level, students will embark on a Capstone Project, a comprehensive experience where they will apply the knowledge and skills they’ve gained throughout the program to create a business plan, develop a prototype, and present their entrepreneurial venture to a panel of industry professionals.

The program also includes a module on Digital Storytelling & Presentation, which hones the technical aspects of crafting compelling digital content and enhances students’ ability to present their ideas and products to a digital audience effectively.

Students will be introduced to eCommerce Analytics & Conversion Optimization, where they will learn to use analytics tools and techniques to assess website traffic, customer engagement, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

The program also covers Cybersecurity & eCommerce Risk Mitigation, equipping students with knowledge about cybersecurity principles, data protection, and risk mitigation strategies in eCommerce. In the eCommerce Operations and Logistics module, students will learn about the operational aspects of running an eCommerce business, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and the use of technology to streamline these processes. The Global eCommerce Strategies module explores the opportunities and challenges associated with expanding an eCommerce business on a global scale, while the Legal & Ethical Considerations in Digital Commerce module probes into the legal and ethical aspects of digital commerce. Finally, the Sales Strategies & Customer Relationship Management module focuses on sales negotiation tactics, CRM, and customer retention techniques, equipping students with the skills to forge robust customer relationships and design effective CRM systems.

Student are guided in the Industry and Career 2 module, which provides insights into the eCommerce industry and career opportunities in Singapore and the Asian region, featuring guest lectures from industry professionals and visits to local eCommerce businesses.

The Advanced Diploma in Digital Entrepreneurship and eCommerce Management is a comprehensive program that prepares students to become competent and innovative digital entrepreneurs, ready to make their mark in the rapidly evolving world of digital commerce

By the conclusion of the two semesters, students will have a robust understanding of the digital commerce landscape, practical experience with eCommerce platforms and tools, and a strong foundation in business communication, financial literacy, and market research.
