- tempo (e.g., ballad, medium tempo, fast tempo)
- styles (e.g., pop, jazz, funk)
- genres within a style (e.g., rock ballad, rock-pop, hard rock)
- meters (e.g., 4/4, 3/4, 6/8), periods (e.g., Baroque, Classical, Romantic), or any other characteristic that highlights their differences.
If you are sending in video recordings, ensure you perform each piece in their entirety, rather than just sections. Your video recordings must clearly show your face. Instrumentalists should also show their hands as clearly as possible while playing.
